Most people are not in favor of vegetable juicing, as they prefer fruit juices instead. Fruits are sweet while most vegetables are not, and this is one of the most common reasons why people may not be willing to try vegetable juices. Interestingly, vegetable juices are much healthier than fruit juices. Vegetables are very high in minerals, especially green vegetables.  Additionally, you may add as many green vegetables into your recipes as you like because of their low caloric content.  If you are on your way to a healthier lifestyle, you may want to consider these vegetable juices.

The method for all recipes is quite simple.  Juice all ingredients and then stir to blend.  If you like your drinks cold, transfer to a blender and add ice cubes to chill.  Drinks are best when they are juiced and served immediately. You may store them in an air-tight container for 1-2 days if needed.

Carrot Mixture

The Carrot Mixture is a delicious drink for vegetable juice beginners. The simple ingredients required are the following:

Carrots – 10 – 12 large
Lemon – 1
Lettuce – few leafs
Apple – 1

Spinach and Apple Juice

The Spinach and Apple Juice drink is a very healthy choice. The ingredients listed below are loaded with fiber, folate, and cancer-fighting agents.

Spinach – 1 ½ bunch
Apples – 4
Lemon – 1

Tomato Blend

The ingredients you needed include the following:

Chopped tomatoes (any variety but slicing tomatoes are best )- 2
Celery – ½
Cucumber – ½
Sea salt and cayenne pepper – ¼ teaspoon each

Optional: Stevia – to taste if you want to sweeten the drinks
