The Benefits of Music for Your Health

The Benefits of Music for Your Health

Most of the time, my friends, we only listen to the music for our entertainment. We often listen to the music when we are bored, for example, or when we are feeling kind of upset. However, as it turns out, music is also very beneficial to your health, you know. Yet, before we jump to that, you may as well keep in mind that you should never listen to the music at a very loud volume as it can damage your hearing ability. Apart from that, here are the benefits of music you can expect for your health, as reported by The Open Mind.
Decreases Your Blood Pressure
By listening to gentle music every morning and night, you can effectively decrease your blood pressure. In fact, according to researches, listening to classic music for half an hour can significantly reduce your blood pressure. Alternatively, you can also listen to the music while jogging or running. This can increase your motivation to carry out exercises and improve your stamina.
Enhances Your Immune System
Researchers have found out that all kinds of music can increase your positive emotion, which often leads to the stimulation of the hormones that can enhance your immune system. This helps you stay away from various diseases, even inherited ones. Both listening to the music and singing can actually decrease the amount of the cortisol hormone, or the stress hormone, in your body, my dear fellow bubblers.
Controls Your Appetite
Believe it or not, fellas, different kinds of music differently affect how you eat. If you listen to gentle music under dimly lit condition, you are most likely to eat slowly. This way, you will be able to decide yourself when is the right time for you to stop eating because your stomach is already full.
