Eye care tips -
Eyes are one of the most wonderful gift given to us and eyes are the window to the world, So it's important to take care of them.
Here are some tips that can help us take care of our eyes:
1. Eat lots of fruits and veggies that full of vitamins to make our eyes brighter.
2. Give enough rest to your eyes.
3. Soak cotton in Luke warm milk and cover eyes with it for 15 min.
4. Wear a good quality sunglasses which protect your eyes from UV rays while going out in the sun.
5. Use cucumber on your eyelids. Press cold cucumber slices gently against eyelids 10 minutes before going to sleep at night to prevent puffiness.
6. If your eye twitches, or your eyes are red and feeling itchy, massage your scalp with curd.
7. After every 20 to 30 minutes of work, look at a distant away object and blink several times. This will help in better focusing.
8. Read in good light and keep a good distance while watching television.
9. Splashing water on you face during breaks can keep you refreshed. This also helps in cooling your eyes.
10. Rub your palms against each other till them become warm. Cover your eyes with your warm palms for about a minute. Palming is another great way to relax and soothe your eyes. Do this in morning when you wake up.
11. For wrinkles or fine lines around the eyes, apply egg white, leave it till it dries and wash it off with cold water. Do this regularly or on alternate days. This natural remedy for wrinkles around the eyes is very effective.
12. In a small bowl of chilled water add few drops of Vitamin E oil or Rose Water. Dip cotton pads for 5 minutes in this and place on the eyes while relaxing for 20 minutes everyday. This will refresh your eyes.
13. Exercise your eyes, and also be sure to relax them.
14. Do not read in dim light. Reading in dim light can cause eye strain but will not damage your eyes. If your eyes feel tired, stop for a while and take a break.
15. Do not look at a bright light directly. Never focus your eyes on the sun directly, as it can damage your eyes.
