How To Cure Cold In Just 24 Hours

Cold and flu are the most common diseases of the respiratory tract. Most people feel these symptoms few times a year, usually in spring and autumn. If you feel that you are getting sick, you must immediately take the necessary measures.

Here are three simple, but effective and tested traditional recipes that will help you combat the initial symptoms of the common cold, as well as to prevent its progress:

1) This drink can be considered as a substitute for the effervescent tablets, and you can do it yourself.

In 1.5 liters of boiled and cooled to room temperature water, add 1 tablespoon coarse sea salt, lemon juice and 1 gram of Vitamin C in the form of an effervescent tablet, containing ascorbic acid.

Optionally, you can sweeten it with a spoon of honey. Mix the drink and consume it within 1.5 hours.

2) Heat 100 ml of red wine, and add ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper and 1 tablespoon honey in it.

Stir and drink it warm before bedtime.

3) A known remedy for cold and cough – warm beer with honey:

Warm a beer bottle of 0.5 liters in a bowl. Remove it from fire and add 2 tablespoons of honey, pinch of cinnamon, clove and stir. 

Consume during the evening, before bed, in small sips, and then go to bed.

It must be noted that this remedy has a rather unpleasant taste, but is very efficient against cold and cough.

This drink softens cough, possesses anti inflammatory effect, and stimulates the sweat glands that derive from the cold body.
